Bundaberg Map

Located on the Queensland Capricorn Coast about 385km north of Brisbane, Bundaberg is a relaxed regional town known as the Southern Gateway to the Great Barrier Reef.

From the township there are plenty of diving and boat tours departing, as well as trips to Lady Elliot Island and Lady Musgrave Island.

Most Australians know Bundaberg as the home and producer of the country’s favourite brand of rum; Bundaberg Rum, better known as “Bundy rum”. The public can take tours of the distillery which will give you a taste of the town’s history, not to mention some excellent rum.

Coastal locations near Bundaberg include Moore Park, Burnett Heads, Mon Repos, Bargara, Elliott Heads and Woodgate, while heading inland you’ll find Childers, Gin Gin, Mount Perry, Wallaville and Lake Monduran.

Nearby national parks include Woodgate National Park and Mount Walsh National Park.
