Cairns is the gateway to Green Island National Park (near Arlington Reef) and Fitzroy Island National Park via ferry. Trinity Bay is faced by many of Cairns' northern beaches including Machans Beach, Holloways Beach, Yorkey's Knob, Trinity Beach, Clifton Beach, Palm Cove and Ellis Beach.
Also appearing on this map are the inland locations of Kuranda, Smithfield, Redlynch, Brinsmead, Edmonton and Gordonvale. National parks include Barron Gorge, Davies Creek National Park, Copperlode Falls Dam and Grey Peaks National Park.
