Cairns beaches and islands include; Fitzroy Island, Holloways Beach, Green Island, Yorkey's Knob, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach, Palm Cove and Oak Beach. Further north are the coastal towns of Port Douglas, Daintree and Cooktown, while south is Innisfail, Bingil Bay, Mission Beach, Dunk Island, Hinchinbrook Island and Halifax.
