Bundaberg Accommodation

Sitting just in from the coast on the Burnett River, Bundaberg is often referred to as the southern gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. The city is in close proximity to several popular beaches and National Parks that allow camping, making it the perfect location for outdoor getaways. Perhaps the most iconic attraction at Bundaberg though would be the Bundaberg Rum Distillery which is open for tours of the facility and a museum of the spirit’s history.

Only a few cane fields down the road is Bargara, a sleepy little satellite town of Bundaberg on the beach. The small town has become a popular holiday and retirement area in recent years with some quaint resorts along the beachfront and a number of restaurants and cafes opening up on the Promenade.
