Finch Hatton Gorge
Just outside of Mackay you’ll find the rainforest paradise of Finch Hatton Gorge within Eungella National Park. There are plenty of scenic bushwalks in the area that lead to waterfalls and rock pools to go swimming in. While you’re drying off after a refreshing swim if you wait patiently you may see a shy platypus, a unique Australian species that populates the area.
