Avington Station
Out near Blackall you’ll find the Avington Outback Holiday Station, a functioning 10,000 acre cattle station on the banks of the Barcoo River. Visitors can stay in the 140 year old Homestead and experience station life, fish on the river, round up some sheep, have a yarn in the shed or get towed around by a goat.
