Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm
Located in the quietly trendy suburb of New Farm is The Powerhouse Arts Centre. What was once the power station for Brisbane’s old tram network has been renovated to be used as a fantastic new centre for the arts. Now, sitting on the banks of the Brisbane River next to New Farm Park, The Powerhouse is a wonderfully bohemian centre that houses visual and performing arts such as theatre shows, stand-up comedy, music performances and cultural festivals.
