Helicopter Sightseeing
To truly appreciate the sheer magnitude of how extensive the Great Barrier Reef really is, get a bird’s eye view from a scenic flight. There are a number of tour groups that go for scenic flights over the Whitsundays Islands so you can see the clean white beaches, rainforest clad islands, sapphire blue ocean all the way to the horizon and the amazing shapes of the reefs that show through the clear waters.
