Cairns Esplanade
Running along the foreshore, Cairns Esplanade is a great place with loads of activities for people of all ages. The Esplanade Lagoon is easily the most popular part of this feature, with swimmers splashing around in the saltwater pool all year round. You’ll find locals and tourists alike going for walks or runs along the Esplanade, kids playing on elaborate playgrounds, families enjoying picnics and anyone with wheels utilising the extensive skate park.
