Coconut Island, Torres Strait
With less than 200 actual inhabitants, Coconut Island really is an escape from your everyday life. The island is part of the Torres Strait Islands and is about 130km northeast of Thursday Island. In this secluded paradise you’ll find sea turtle hatcheries, a giant clam ground, massive palms, World War II relics and extensive sand flats.
