Fraser Island Central Station
Right in the heart of the rainforest you’ll find Fraser Island Central Station. The spot is named so as it was the central Forestry Department station from 1920 to 1959. The remains of the cottages built in this time are still here among story boards and information panels on the history of Fraser Island. This area is also pocketed with wonderful little patches of rainforest and is a popular place to visit on the island.
