Situated on the tropical Capricorn Coast, the town of Seventeen Seventy is a quiet, relaxed escape from the more touristy towns along this patch of coast. Those who live or stay here find themselves still close to all the tourist adventures of the Great Barrier Reef while still being able to step back and spend quiet days fishing or walking the gentle shores.
