Brisbane Distances Map
Located in the southeast corner of the state, Brisbane is the capital city of the tropical state of Queensland. The closest localities include the Gold Coast to the south, which incorporates Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast Hinterland. To the southwest are the towns of Allora and Warwick while to the immediate left you’ll find Ipswich, Gatton and Toowoomba.
Heading northwest you’ll find Esk, Kilcoy, Nanango, and Kingaroy. Head directly north on the Bruce Highway for Caboolture and the Sunshine Coast towns of Caloundra, Maroochydore and Noosa Heads. The closest islands to Brisbane are Moreton Island and North Stradbroke Island which form Moreton Bay, South Stradbroke Island to the south and Bribie Island to the north.
